Below is an interview from a man who defeated testicular cancer. (see also a YouTube video interview with him HERE)

1. Tell us a little bit about your story:

After wrapping up a season in the U.K.'s top professional ice hockey league, I was hit with a life-
altering diagnosis: metastatic testicular cancer. Multiple tumor markers were detected, and more
than 100 tumors had spread throughout my body—from my pelvic region all the way into my
lungs.
As a professional athlete, I was always mindful of recovery, inflammation, and eating “clean” to
support performance. I knew that gut health played a huge role in how you feel and function, but
this journey taught me just how much more there is to learn about true healing and cellular
health.
The first red flags were subtle but persistent—irregular bowel movements, poor digestion, and
feeling unwell after meals. When I returned to the U.S. from the U.K., I woke up one morning
with a small lump on my neck. Within weeks, that lump had grown to the size of a small football.
That’s when I knew something was seriously wrong.

2. What were your thoughts and feelings...tell us how you dealt with this news.

After being rushed to the hospital with severe pain, I underwent a biopsy and was told I had just
a few weeks to live. The cancer was spreading aggressively, and while I didn’t fully understand
the gravity of it at the time, I knew something had to change. Despite the shock, I stayed
optimistic and ready to fight.
Those early days were incredibly difficult. I was in intense pain, relying on a pain pump and
prescribed over 200 mg of opioids daily—until they stopped working. At that point, I made the
decision to begin chemotherapy.
The treatment hit me hard. After the first couple of rounds, I lost nearly 60 pounds. I couldn’t
walk. I couldn’t talk. I was on oxygen and had several close calls where my life was truly on the
line. Hockey—my entire identity up to that point—was suddenly put on hold.
But that moment marked the beginning of something much bigger. It was the start of my healing
journey—not just to survive, but to rebuild my body, rewire my mindset, and help others avoid
going through what I did. What was once the hardest chapter of my life became the foundation of
my mission today.

3. What gave you the strength to push through all this & what made you choose
the alternative path vs. western medicine 💊 ?

After a long process of research, personal trial and error, and experiencing both western medicine
and alternative approaches firsthand, I came to a deep, intuitive realization: if I continued relying
solely on pain meds, chemotherapy, and conventional treatment, it would eventually kill me.
I had already endured 14 broken bones—not counting fingers and toes—and I knew my body
was breaking down. My nervous system was shot. I was acidic, inflamed, dehydrated at a fascia
level, and my gut—my microbiome—was a wreck. And despite being a pro athlete, I had to face
a hard truth: I didn’t understand the body as well as I thought I did, because I had been taught to
put full trust in western medicine.
Everything started to shift when my wife stepped in. I always say she saved my life—because
she truly did. She opened the door to the alternative path. It wasn’t about rejecting western
medicine entirely, but about giving my body what it needed to truly heal. For the first time, I had
energy. I had hope. And deep down, I knew I was going to make it through. That inner knowing
became my fuel—and from there, everything changed.

4. Were there moments when you doubted your decision to use alternative
methods or did you feel pressure to follow the standard route?

Absolutely. In the beginning, there were many moments of doubt. I was told—more than once—
by oncologists that I would die immediately if I chose anything outside of their treatment plan.
That fear-based messaging shook me, and it planted seeds of uncertainty.
But what really triggered a shift in perspective was when they told me I could eat anything I
wanted—even McDonald's—during treatment. That raised a massive red flag for me. How could
nutrition not matter when my body was fighting for its life?
The pressure to do chemotherapy was intense. Just the stress of being constantly told I had to
follow their protocol was overwhelming. My body was clearly rejecting the path they were
pushing me toward. I could feel it. And as hard as it was, that resistance—both physical and
intuitive—helped me trust my decision to step away and take back control of my healing.

5. Can you walk us through what your healing routine looked like?

When I was following the chemotherapy plan, it felt like my body was sprinting at a million
miles an hour—24/7. I was in constant pain and extreme discomfort. Anytime I consumed
something synthetic, bioengineered, or heavily processed, my body would immediately react. I
became highly intuitive to what did and didn’t belong in my system.
To help flush out those unnatural substances, I relied heavily on breathwork and daily sessions
in an infrared sauna for detoxification. I also pushed myself to walk 3 miles of Zone 2 cardio
every day, which helped reduce visceral fat, improve metabolic function, and support healing.
Alongside sauna and cardio, I used cold therapy (hormesis) and specific breathing techniques to
stimulate my immune system and build resilience. Hormetic stress made me feel the most alive
—it gave me confidence that my body was healing.
My daily healing routine also included:
• Red light therapy beds (Sunlighten)
• Baking soda and Epsom salt detox baths
• Rebound trampoline sessions for lymphatic circulation
• Lymphatic massage, dry brushing, and tapping
• Sound and vibrational therapy
• Scalar frequency therapy
• High-dose Vitamin C IVs
• Ozone therapy
• Grounding and spending time in nature
• Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
• 12-hour to 3-day fasts
• A highly customized nutrition plan and supplement protocol
• And most importantly, daily affirmations and mindset work
Each of these tools played a vital role in restoring balance and giving my body the space, energy,
and environment it needed to heal naturally.

6. What role did the Cultured Vitality  & infrared contrast therapy
play in your healing journey?

Cultured Vitality and infrared contrast therapy were two of the first therapies that
helped me reconnect with my body’s intuition. They made me realize how critically important it
is to be intentional about what you're putting into your system.
Bravo Yogurt helped repair and rebalance my microbiome—what many call the second brain—
which had a huge ripple effect on my energy, mood, and immune response. At the same time,
using infrared contrast therapy (cycling between heat and cold) gave me immediate feedback
on what was reducing inflammation, activating healing pathways, and supporting detox.
These two therapies gave me the first signs of real progress and helped me listen to my body in a
way I never had before. That inner awareness gave me the confidence to step away from
chemotherapy and trust a more holistic path focused on long-term vitality and true healing—not
just survival.

7. Did you notice any particular changes when you started taking Cultured
Vitality?

To be honest, I didn’t notice immediate changes when I first started taking Cultured Vitality. At
the time, I was living in extreme stress, fighting for my life with over a hundred tumors in my
body. The pain was so intense that it was hard to recognize any subtle shifts—everything was a
blur.
It wasn’t until I fully stepped away from chemotherapy, stopped all pharmaceuticals, and began
fasting regularly that things started to change. I completely transformed my environment and
committed to nourishing my body only with high-frequency, living foods and herbs—
including Cultured Vitality.
That’s when everything shifted. My inflammation dropped to zero, and my energy levels started
to rise. I could feel my body finally starting to heal. Cultured Vitality became a key part of that
deeper transformation—not just because of what it added, but because it aligned with everything
I was doing to restore life, balance, and intuition in my body.

8. How has this journey changed your perspective on health, healing, and life in
general?
This health journey has been the greatest blessing God could have given me. What once felt like
the end turned out to be a divine wake-up call—one that completely transformed how I view
health, healing, and the meaning of life itself.
Today, I wake up and go to bed with a deep sense of purpose: to help others, to give them hope,
and to remind them that healing is possible—no matter how dark things seem. I’m beyond
grateful to be alive, and even more grateful to live this life alongside my incredible wife and
family. Every moment now feels like a gift.
This journey taught me how sacred our bodies truly are. We must be incredibly mindful of what
we put into them—physically, mentally, and spiritually. The way we treat ourselves matters.
Healing isn’t just about eliminating illness; it’s about creating a life that’s full of awareness,
energy, and presence.
There are so many natural, powerful resources available to support healing and longevity.
Choosing to invest in clean food, conscious habits, and holistic therapies is not just worth it—it’s
everything. Because when you truly feel alive, connected, and in alignment, no price compares.

9. What is life like for you now? What have you been up to since?
Life is amazing, and every day feels like a blessing. My wife and I have fully dedicated
ourselves to creating businesses and projects that help others live inflammation-free and
experience life to its fullest potential.
I’m grateful to say that I’ve returned to playing professional hockey, while also serving as a
player advisor and holistic performance coach—working as a certified nutrition coach, life
coach, and personal trainer. My mission is to use my story to help athletes and individuals
build resilience, mental toughness, and sustainable, high-performance lifestyles.
Through my platform, raatsyedgetraining.com, I offer tailored nervous system training,
nutrition protocols, and mindset coaching designed for anyone striving to feel and perform
their best.
My wife has also launched her own business, bio3ozone.com, offering ozone salves and
therapeutic products. Ozone therapy—through insufflation and IV—played a key role in my
healing. It helped boost my immune system, alkalize my body, and contributed to the removal
of tumors that doctors said couldn’t be eliminated by anything other than a highly invasive, high-
risk surgery. The ozone salves she developed help reduce inflammation, pain, and are naturally
antifungal, antimicrobial, and antiviral.
Together, we’ve also created a wellness website with vetted alternative healing products we
use and trust—empowering others to create their own sanctuary of healing at home.
Today, my purpose is clear: to help people take control of their health, live inflammation-free,
and stop relying on dead foods or conventional medicine that often treats symptoms instead of
addressing root causes. One day at a time, we’re building a movement rooted in truth, healing,
and vibrant living.

10. What would you say to someone facing a similar diagnosis or health battle
right now?
First, I want you to know—you are not alone. Everyone’s healing journey is different, but one
thing is universal: it takes discipline, courage, and belief.
Your body is incredibly strong and capable of healing. Your mindset matters more than you can
imagine. Fill your thoughts with hope, your plate with living, nourishing foods, and surround
yourself with people who lift you up—not those who feed fear.
Be intuitive. Ask questions. Seek understanding. Don’t be afraid to challenge what you’re told,
even by doctors. If you believe someone else’s opinion more than you trust your own body,
you’ll miss the signals it’s trying to give you. Learn to listen inward—that’s where real healing
begins.
Above all, believe that healing is possible. I’m here to tell you that it is. Whether this chapter
leads to a full recovery or becomes part of a deeper purpose, you are being shaped into someone
stronger, wiser, and more resilient than you’ve ever been.
And if you ever feel like giving up—reach out. You’re never meant to walk this alone. I’m living
proof that miracles can happen, and that there’s always hope.
