Most probiotics contain 5-6 different strains of beneficial bacteria and only sometimes also have pre-biotics in them. Cultured Vitality uses a blend with over 300 beneficial microbes and contains pre-biotics.
The strains of beneficial microbes in Cultured Vitality were formulated to encourage the body to release certain enzymes, and those enzymes are needed for the body to produce a protein called GcMAF. GcMAF is a protein in the body that makes sure that vitamin D is working at it's best performance! In short, Cultured Vitality helps your body use vitamin D efficiently!
When vitamin D is working properly in the body, it does more than just boost the immune system, it also supports a better mood, better blood sugar balance, detoxification processes, and a clear mind!
The amount recommended to take every day is very minimal at only 1 tablespoon 2x/day. Cultured Vitality is only made with goat milk or A2 cow milk....both milks contain A2 casein. A1 casein is usually what people are allergic to if it isn't the lactose. On top of that, most of the casein is removed during the culturing process when we make Cultured Vitality.
If dairy is still a concern for you, there are 2 options. First option is to try it topically! Yes, you read that right! Customers have used it on their skin and reported very great benefits including glowing skin - even using it as a nightly "face cream." The second option is to make it yourself by using the DIY kit and using a non-dairy milk.
Most people have not reported "detox-like" symptoms, but sometimes people do get a small headache or a little queasy when they first start taking it. Sometimes they do use the bathroom often when first starting too. These are ALL actually good signs, because it shows that the body is detoxing! Yay! We would suggest to cut back on the amount that you are taking if those symptoms start so your body can get rid of those toxins slower without the side-effects.
Usually, the people who have the toughest time are those who continually decide to eat junk foods and sugary drinks.... when the body starts trying to detox with Cultured Vitality, but then more junk is continually added in the diet, it is too much for the body to handle.
Other times, those symptoms can appear if the body is dealing with a more severe illness and again, this is a GOOD SIGN - we would suggest to just take the dosage in smaller amounts and slowly build up dosage.
Those who have reported these side-effects but choose to continue taking Cultured Vitality (whether they cut back dosage or continue on the recommended dosage amount schedule), usually report back that their energy, sleep, and gut are all SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER! woohoo! =)
To really reset the gut, it is suggested to complete at least a 90-day cycle. This allows the cultures to "stick around" longer and repopulate the healthy gut flora.
Those who are dealing with other health related issues should talk with their health provider. Feel free to email us at info@culturedvitality.org (mailto:info@culturedvitality.org)if you are dealing with something specific and want more information.
Every person is different. Always consult your health care provider before starting any diet or supplement. With that being said, a diet low in sugars, high in leafy green and vegetables (for fiber), and not eating after 8PM so the body has time to digest in the evenings is best.
For best results, high doses of vitamin D are generally recommended such as 10,000IU. BE SURE to consult your doctor before adding vitamin D to your diet as it is possible to overdose on vitamin D.
When taking vitamin D, vitamin K is usually recommended, so a good D3K2 supplement combo makes it easy. We like Quicksilver Scientific's Liposomal D3K2!(https://www.quicksilverscientific.com/products/d3k2?campaignid=21496725068&gad_campaignid=21500688448&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADCSeUkXSI08Whjljwh_pvwPtb2tJ&gclid=CjwKCAiAkbbMBhB2EiwANbxtbaLYkrCEE9ULYpqEBWQwQNXidwlKVaEGmbMPlUMC9qvwDkg7V_nZKxoC28UQAvD_BwE&hsa_acc=2733807029&hsa_ad=&hsa_cam=21496725068&hsa_grp=&hsa_kw=&hsa_mt=&hsa_net=adwords&hsa_src=x&hsa_tgt=&hsa_ver=3&src=google&utm_campaign=&utm_medium=ppc&utm_source=adwords&utm_term=) (not sponsored).
Ideally, Cultured Vitality is taken by itself on an empty stomach in the morning before food and in the evenings away from food before bed. If that's too difficult for your schedule, just making sure to get it in each day will work just fine. 😊 This is suppose to be easy, not difficult.
Taking antibiotics or other pharmaceuticals like ivermectin can alter the potency of probiotics, so if you are on antibiotics, again... speak with your physician, but you may want to wait until you finish the round of antibiotics to start Cultured Vitality.
It is best to AVOID other probiotics such as a probiotic supplement, yogurt, kefir, kombucha, or other fermented foods as any other probiotics consumed will try to compete with Cultured Vitality in the gut!
